Rd 1 – Jerez roundup

Saturday:

“Race 1 P5. Felt strong on the bike all day, with a good qualifying session but unfortunately I starting P13 due to exceeding track limits on my fastest lap which would have put me in 2nd. The opening laps of the race were a bit tough having to avoid some crashes and losing a few positions. As the race went on I got into a good rhythm and found myself battling for the podium in the last laps. Ready to do it again tomorrow starting from P5.”

Sunday:

“P12. Utterly gutted for todays result. After an almost perfect race holding 3rd from the start to the last lap. Going in too deep on the final lap into corner 2 and hitting the wet patch and going down. P12 finish. Apologies and thanks to my team for giving me the best bike today to fight at the front. The next race is ours.”
