Harry focused on Czech round in July after Misano mishap
A double DNF doesn’t reflect the speed and potential that Harry Khouri showed during the latest round of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.
A strong start on Friday for the #43 turned into a weekend of frustration for the talented Aussie teen who once again showed his natural racing ability after fighting from twenty fifth on the grid into world championship points contention in both races before a double crash on Saturday and Sunday cut short any hope, he had of a top fifteen finish.
Khouri remains optimistic ahead of a planned test at Most Autodrom in the coming weeks ahead of the next round of the series at the same Czech venue in late July.
Harry Khouri:
“It was a disappointing weekend to say the least. I crashed three times and didn’t finish either race. I felt good on the bike but after a tough qualifying session I made a mistake coming through the pack and that was that. I felt good in warm up on Sunday, but I made another mistake in Race 2 and that was the weekend over. I am looking forward as we have shown our speed and I know the results will come.”
