First points of the year at Assen for Harry

 In News

Australian Harry Khouri raced to his first World Championship points of the season after a strong performance all weekend in the latest round of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship at the iconic TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands.

Qualifying P15, Khouri rode superbly in Saturday’s opening fourteen lap encounter, recovering from not the best start to a brilliant thirteenth at the flag.

Sunday’s second race was also going well with the #43 very much in contention for a repeat result until he slid out of contention in the second half of the race.

Despite the spill, Harry is motivated and looking forward to the next round of the WorldSSP300 series which takes place in three weeks at Estoril.

Harry Khouri:
“It was a decent week in Assen. I was a little unlucky in race one off the start, but I was able to recover and score some points. We made a good step with the team, and I was able to improve a lot in qualifying. Crashing in race two wasn’t the best way to end the weekend but overall, I am happy and looking forward to the third round in Portugal.”
